The webcams have been set up thanks to the sponsorship of the People’s Postcode Lottery. The popularity of the webcams have meant that they have had to seek more money to cope with the additional demand.
Their biggest attraction has been the old osprey Lady, who defied all odds and returned to the Loch of Lowes wildlife reserve last year. She has already featured on the Camscape blog.
Lots of birds today, but no squirrels to be seen. There are three different webcams to look at. There is the Loch of Lowes webcam that previously featured Lady. They also stream the Falls of Clyde, featuring a waterfall, and the Montrose Basin, showing ducks, geese, and gulls. Each webcam also has its own blog that you can access from the Scottish Wildlife Trust website.
