The Allentown Hockey Arena in New Hampshire, home to the Phantoms, is currently being demolished. The Phantoms are the American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL Philadelphia Flyers.
The Phantoms’ last game was a magical 4-3 victory against the Hershey Bears, which saw them tie the score at 3-3 with only 20 seconds of the game remaining, and then go on to win the game in overtime.The demolition has already started in haste!
Work started to demolish the arena, worth $157 million, on January 3 to make way for a new arena is expected to be finished in September 2003.
